The February lodge meeting was a Zoom meeting featuring Marlene Wisuri who talked about the Sami people, the reindeer herding people of northern Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Another current activity is the ongoing Norwegian American Immigration history course. The sixteen week course will run through the 3rd week of May. Seen here is a screen shot of the Week 9 lecture which focused on Norwegian settlements along the Mississippe River.
Our fun and educational activities include summer picnics, parties to celebrate Leif Erickson, Santa Lucia Christmas and Valentine's Day, cooking classes, sports activities, book groups and visits to Norwegian-American museums.
